My love for film and theatre began during my studies in Film and Performing Arts at the University of Nijmegen, under the inspiring guidance of film director, theorist, and writer Eric de Kuyper. Since then, I have had a mission: to enthuse people for beautiful audiovisual productions and to assist creators in developing and producing quality films.

Due to my extensive experience at the Netherlands Film Fund, Eurimages, and the Dutch Media Fund, where I reviewed hundreds of projects from national and international creators across various genres and formats, I have developed the ability to recognize quality. In addition to my content knowledge, I also have experience in leadership, policy development, and project management, enabling me to provide expert advice and guidance.

I was the first female board member of the Association of Dutch Film Theaters (1991 - 1993). Furthermore, as vice-chair of Eye Filmmuseum, I was closely involved in the search for a new location, which was in the end realized on the border of the IJ (Amsterdam-Noord). As (the first female) president of the Promotion Group of Eurimages (2013-2020), I actively contributed to promoting Eurimages' policy and served as jury president for Co-production Awards and Lab Awards at numerous international film festivals. I am also a member of the European Film Academy.

My extensive professional experience within the audiovisual sector in exhibition, distribution, and with funds, both in subsidized and commercial environments, enables me to provide you with expert advice and guidance.
